Shout-out to the Knicks!
If you visit this blog regularly then you know that I am a basketball fan. I just wanted to give a shout out to The New York Knicks. I also wanted to give props to Mayor Zohran Mamdani for being a positive motivating force in politics. You can tell he’s been a fan of the team for decades. His speech at the Knicks celebration was fantastic, unlike the sourpuss speech from the Knicks owner who shall not be named. A lifetime ago a Knicks fan reached out to me to create an illustration for him. He liked my streetball art, and wanted to see a streetball player in the team colors. I said I’d do it, but I wouldn’t do any other favors. Anyhow here is the 23-year-old drawing. I’d like to think I’m even better now, but I really need to draw more.
